This is kinda funny actually. Hardly anyone got too pissed off (except a couple of notable exceptions) and many people agree about some of these topics.

Abortion - certainly don't want to encourage it, but it has to be available for victims of rape or incest. In other cases, grow a brain and use protection or assume the responsibility.

Environment - I think someone said that he'd rather look at a tree than a split-level. Right on.

Gays - absolutely fine with me. Neither I nor anyone else has a right to control one's sexuality as long as it is consensual.

Social security - all I got a say is at least there is a cap on the amount they take out per year.

What does that make me? Who knows, who cares. I care about people and that's good enough.

I really don't know what label I fit. I tend to laugh at everybody - except at motherfucking terrorists, shoot those bastards before they get on anymore airplanes.

I was at this GOP picnic thingy...a few people asked about my politics (a few people know that's not really 'me' ) so I thought I'd give it a go saying I was a commie...

I can't remember what they said...I think they weren't paying much attention to be honest. Or maybe they just assumed I was kidding.

I think I'd vote for the person who seemed most authentic, regardless of party...well maybe not. I don't have to decide for a while . I'll see when it happens...

ABORTION:
I believe that abortion is a sin BUT I do not believe in legislating morals. It is my responsibility as a Christian to try and prevent abortion through my faith, not through the law (or violence).

Death PENALTY
I support it. I have put three men on death row personally.

GAYS
What one does in the privacy of their home is their business. I do not believe they should be afforded the 'protected' status afforded races, gender, or religion nor do I believe that same sex marriage should be recognized nor afforded the same protection as heterosexual marriage.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
Does no good. Abolish any remnants.

GUN CONTROL
Let everyone have at least one gun. Let them carry it and use it.

DRUGS
Legalize with the following provisions:
The government will have an absolute monopoly on the sale of drugs.
Anyone who commits a crime 1) under the influence of 2) in possession of, or 3) to obtain drugs will be sentenced to mandatory life sentence without parole.
Anyone who uses what are now illegal drugs waive all government entitlements including welfare benefits and health care. (We will bury them in an appropriate paupers grave)
Anyone caught selling drugs will be subject to capital punishment.

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE
The government should not sponsor any religion NOR should it interfere with the private exercise of ones faith. That means: no prayers on the PA system at football games but a moment of silence for attendees to evoke any of none of their favorite (G)gods. Children should be allowed to prey in school or not. It should not be forced not prohibited. We must recognize that we are a country based on Diest doctrine and not try to rewrite history and ignore those facts.

ENVIRONMENT
Should be protected but not at the cost of human lives. We can drill for oil in a responsible way. We should not let some fucking frog determine if people will have heating oil this winter. We must understand that people are more important than some subspecies of rodents. some shit must die.

ECONOMICS
Keep government out as much as possible. If America's corporations are making money, we are making money. If it can be privatized, then do it. Government is a crappy business manager and they do not know how to handle money. Tax cuts should be equal in percentage across the board. I would like to see a national sales tax and the abolition of the income tax (works here in Texas).


I have been elected to public office 3 times. Once as a Democrat and twice as a republican. I think I am a moderate Republican.
