white vs.non-hispanic white

I was reading an article about the median per capita income and I was wondering what category of people should fit the profile "white " and "white non-hispanic"?


Interesting to find out that white non-hispanic are the richest ethnic group of people.

so what am I then, Im just a white boy but Im not hispanic. Am I white or white non-hispanic?

My guess would be that WHITE are the ones characteristic of the Anglo-Saxons ,whereas the non-white hispanic might be any whites besides anglo-saxons and those from Latin America.

Definitions for what Latin America comprises vary from a strict cultural and linguistic perspective,it would be all countries and territories where Romance languages — Spanish, Portuguese, French, and their creoles - are spoken.

yeah just saying "white" is retarded. Peeps mean anglo-saxon heritage when they say white, but are often too ignorant to even know that.

The "white" category seems to be a attempt to capture fair skinned latinos like me. Latinos can be mestizo, mullato, pretty much pure Spanish, or pretty much pure indigenous peoples (of which there are many types). All look different .
