Well I'll assume this was directed at me, since I'm the starter of this thread.

Anyone who knows me on the board knows that I am not a liberal, and not a conservative, in fact, I consider myself completely "off wing."

I am far from a racist, (not that you called me one), but just the fact that I have to say such a thing, is part of the whole point of my post.

It seems that in a lot of ways, we are conditioned to think that anyone who does not totally agree with a minority is a racist, anyone who does not agree with womens rights is a chauvinist , and anyone who does agree with homosexuals is a homophobe.

Now, that is a bit of an extreme look, but basically true. How many times have you, as a white hetero male, had to insert the "I'm not a racist/sexist/homophobe, but..."

I am NOT trying to take away anything from anyone here, not trying to say gays are/were not oppressed, etc...

White males certainly DO hold the majorty of the power postitions in this country...and I completely sympathize with all the other 'groups' trying to gain some 'power.'

My main points are:

1. White males ARE, whether bluntly or not, taught from an early age in this country that they are to blame for everyone's problems. - Again, that's a bit more extreme then the normal truth, but will suffice because I'm fuckin' tired and not thinking straight.

2. From my experience, minority groups are NOT fighting for equality as most claim, but rather for superiority. Which of course is understandable, but that puts them at no higher moral ground than myself as a hetero white male.

Human nature is human nature for the most part. Only culture is different.

Our government probably does want whites to be the minority. That would explain some of the backwards things they have created like minority scholarships and affirmitive action.

Nonetheless, I'd like to see you get more concrete about these claims. The ONLY place I know that white males are getting kicked routinely and severely is in academic feminism. Is this something you're getting at school? Tell me where else you see this.

Second, I really would like to see the evidence that minorities are fighting for superiority. I can think of the Black Muslims many years ago having an attitude of racial superiority but it was a drop in the bucket of racist white superiority. Who are you talking about and what is your evidence?

Here is my story: I was born into a middle class family. My parents divorced when I was 4. I lived in the ghetto for 11 years and was poor as shit. at 16 I moved with my father to a upper middle class neighborhood. Majority of my friend are white and have always been white. I've encountered racism once or twice directly as a teenager (I'm 22 now) I am married to a GERMAN lady. I have never complained about being treated unfairly based on my race. The way I see it is:

Everyone has choices some people go left and some go right. Everyone can blame a number of things that put them in whatever situation. Some of my people (Blacks) have done this.
Am I proud of this? HELL NO!! My mother was on Welfare for 10 years and had no desire to work. She is the epitomy of a Welfare mom and because of this I haven't talk to her for 2 years.
BUT, My father is the hardest, honest working man I know and this is who I model myself to be like. So for you Sorry motherfuckers to sit here and generalize a race of people like that makes my insides turn.

For you assholes to say this is your fucking country?? PLEASE give me a fucking break if you take all the minorities out of this country (black, Mexican,asian and others) Lets see how great this fucking country would be!!! Think about it!!
