Whiskey Plates....

I was just wondering how many other states have drunk plates. I always notice at least one car with them on my commute into work. In Minnesota, if you've had a couple of DWI's they can give you different liscence plates for a year or so. If you have those plates, the cops can pull you over for any or no reason and give you a breathalizer-- and you're not allowed to have any alcohol in your system at all or you get in trouble again.

I think they've only done it for a few years. My bf's brother just got them and I think he deserves it as it was his 3rd.

what do the mn ones look like?

They're all white bordered with a line of blue and they usually either start out either WX or WU and then #'s. There are actually quite a lot of them.

Pass me the bottle broly....no shit.

People kept sending me a copy of an article saying Minneapolis is the most fun city in the country. Not that I don't like it here, but whoever wrote that article was obviously on drugs.

i don't think wisconsin or illinois have those plates - although, i think it's a good idea...whatever will deter people from driving drunk.

i saw that article where minneapolis was named "most fun city." i think they base that on how much money the state spends on recreation, parks, sports, etc.

I thought you were talking about people with dented license plates from hitting things when drunk. :) I have never noticed those plates. I will have to keep an eye out.

I like the idea

Did you know in NASCAR the rookies are required to have a different color bumper?

Ostensibly because they get passed more than they pass?
