low-carb diet
my salads always consisted of
carrots
cucumber
lettuce
tomato
celery
avocado
but now that ill probably start a low-carb diet which vegetables should i avoid?

carrots
avocado
beans
corn

are not good for cutting (too much sugar)

almost all green veggies are OK
especialy lettuce, celery an cucumber

just a correction

avocados have much fat, not carbs

Carrots are the highest glycemic of the veggies you listed - and high GI food is not good to mix with high fat food such as avocado. Either drop them from the mix (which I would do), or don't combine them with the avocado.

I eat all of the veggies you listed, minus the carrots, plus red bell peppers, green beans, broccoli, and have no problem maintaining a ketonic state.

This thread lists the "best" fruits and veggies, nutritionally, but doesn't take GI into account: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82855
