I was about to order some oil from universalkits.com to convert some powders but I wasn't sure if there was one oil that was better than others for the conversion. The choices are cottonseed, sesameseed, peanut oil or grapeseed.I figured they were all the same but I just wanted to double check before I ordered. Thanks

I'm also interested I am using sesame with my fina. But I was thinking about trying cottonseed when I do the prop. I think I read somewhere cottonseed was thinner. Anyone with personnel experience please share.

Grapeseed is great. Very thin. And you can get >400mg concentrations to hold well. Furthermore, you absorb the oil you inject. Grapeseed oil is very healthy. Good luck!

Grapeseed seems to be the general consensus on most conversion forums.

I used cotton seed oil and it seems to work okay, but if I had it to do again I'd jump on the grapeseed oil bandwagon.

Grapeseed is good. Its thinner and healthier. Only thing that I don't like is the weird tint it gives to the gear. Kinda looks funky.

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like I will definitely go with the Grapeseed.

Grapeseed for me too, but dont waste your $ getting it from a research company, just get it off the shelf in your local store. After filtering it is all sterile anyway.

Yes it is.

I agree. By the time you filter and bake, food quality oils from the health food store are fine. Buying sterile oil is a huge waste of $$$.

Putting store bought oil through a sterile filter does not make the oil " sterile "

If you use a Whatman .45 filter, it would still be best to bake the mixture to sterilize it, but what comes out the clean side of a .22 filter is for most intents and purposes sterile. Most bacteria are bigger than that.

There is some truth to that. If you bake the oil and then proceed to put it through a sterlie filter, it is as sterile as you can make it in a household. Let's face it, oils you buy in stores are not in any way made in a sterile environment.

Filter then bake.

I do conversions in this order:

1) put powder in vial
2) add oil
3) add BA and BB
4) heat on stovetop until powder is fully dissolved
5) transfer mixture into sealed, sterile vials by pushing it through a Whatman filter
6) bake to sterilize

That process is sufficient to create a safe injectible anabolic steroid.
