lets say an individual is 200 pounds of lean body mass and hes like 250 pounds total bodyweight. what diet would be more protien sparing.......a diet consisting of 200 grams of protien 50 carbs and 100 fats or
200 grams of protien 200 carbs and 50 fats??????????? i would like to hear your opinion

cmon i thought were supposed to have some bad ass experts on this stuff. it would virtually end all questions about dieting if you knew what was more protien sparing. that means if carbs were more protien sparing then just drop fat next to nothing or just a lil. and also how many grams of carbs or fats does it take to spare one gram of protien?????????

If training was intense, the higher carb diet would spare more muscle for most people, in my opinion.

However, the low-carb macronutrient ratios you give might acheive ketosis and spare muscle tissue. Training would have to be optimized, and carb intake a bit more personalized to reduce weight-training induced catabolism. Everyone is different.
