I found this article today, and it really make me think about the pro-cons of different
process use in whey protein, but at same time how much of this info is reliable?
fitnessatlantic.com/whey_protein_hard_facts.htm
According to this article:
- Hydro process induced brain damage
- Ion-exchange makes native whey protein structures destroyed
Its obvious that Microfiltered process is the best whey you can get, but when you have
major brands like Optimum selling their most expensive whey product "Platinum Hydrowhey",
what´s the deal here?
Also saying that if on label :
- Cholesterol more than 15mg per scoop proves the main protein in the blend is WPC
- Fat anything other than zero WPC is the main ingredient
How true is this?
I´ve seen many brands that use isolate whey as main ingredient, and their levels of
cholesterol and fat are higher!
I am confuse,
Your thoughts?
