Whey & Creatine

OK so I've been thinkin of gettin some suppliments, and the first two that strung to mind were whey and creatine, so I was thinkin, if I use this routine out of a fitness magazine, which has me working 6 days a week, how much of each should I use? And how long would it last me [I'm getting 1kg whey protein and 100g creatine - £19.95 ($38.98)]

Also I was wondering:
Are these the suppliments you would recomend?
Are their any side affects?
Is that a good price?

take a daily dose given on product label.

They are highly reccomended supplements.

no side effects

good price.

i think the thing to remember is that powdered protein supplements are just that, a supplement. ideally protein shakes are a quick and easy way to add protein to an already balanced diet. rich in protein, complex carbohydrates, e.f.a.'s. veggies, fruit etc.

if your diet is complete, and comes from diverse sources, creatine is unnecessary because there will already be plentiful amounts in your system. imho creatine: big waste of scrill.

Well i get 100g of creatine free with 1kg of whey.. so i might aswell get it.

And on a few creatine brands packaging it says "creatine - without the side affects" what does that mean? i thought their wernt any side affects?
