JJ: thanks, again! Well I'm in official "contest training" mode for June 7 (Boise, Id) and another one on June 28 here in Portland, Or. I'll be posting some pics of strongman training in my "gallery".
Spatts, that thar piece was the first time I "painted" or colored an entire piece via Photoshop. Interesting experience and much more exhausting than a heavy set of cleans.
I'll post the B&W version of the piece in my gallery. Don't think I can post it here.....
Ha! Yes. Welll...if my jaw line was a bit more square, the lips a tad more plump. Oh, and the hair; if my hair was as long and as curly, and if my breasties were a cup bigger.
Then it'd be right on! hehehehehe.
I have to say that quite a few artists tend to draw their likeness into their work. Very subconcious thing, too. Afterall it is our own faces that we use as references for facial expressions. But I'm glad you all like the stuff. Especially that Egyptian Vixen piece. That piece was very impromptu.
