Y_lifter New member Feb 6, 2004 #2 I was in a Training class M - Thur in San Fran area.. Sunday, I Hiked a place called Muir Woods along the coast just north of there on Sunday before.. Unbelievable Redwood trees. It was raining a bit, so no pics from me.. Hiked some trails like this only a foot wide along the Mtns Getting there is some of the most twisty turning road (RT 1) that I have ever driven on, especially in thick fog..

The Redwoods are big, but mostly what awes you is how TALL they are... The Seqoias(sp?) are not as tall, but very Big as in Phat, compared to the Redwoods being sorta big and very very tall.. some like 250- 300 ft
