where to go now??

ok, i have lost 30lbs since jan. i am currently:

6'4"
210lbs
17%BF before i lost the weight

Now it is time to start packing on some muscle, is a bulking diet a good idea?? i have been working out since freshmen year in high school, but have only been working out seriously for 1 year, i am currently a college sophomore, so i don't wanna start real gear yet, so that leads me to the question of what supplements to take?? thanks in advance
 
you have it right asking about diet, diet is most important and nothing great is gonna happen without good diet. other than that some creatine could help, and if you consider protein shakes and dextrose supps those too, though they are really just substitues and you should use shake and some dextrose postworkout in my opinoin.
 
a bulking diet is what will optimize your muscel gains, though also a lot of ppl are concerned with what they look liek in summer and then bulk when winter comes, it is all up to you.
 
how long should a bulking diet go on for? and from my research on the topic, i heard just about anything is game as far as food goes, and i like that... i think i am gonna through in creatine and L-glutamine as far as supplements go with some dextrose....

on a bulking diet all food is certainly not game. In a bulking fase you well be eating a diet which has more calories then your body uses in a day,a caloric surplus. Ideally all these extra calories you want used to build new proteins (muscle). (btw what is your BF now? as it has been shown that when you are leaner its easier to add weigth as LBM)

So you have to keep a hawk's eye on what u eat, eating a couple of pounds of lard is not going to make ur muscles grow. Go for at least 1.5 grams of protein per pound of LBM, eat mainly complex carbs except some simple carbs post workout (i.e. dextrose).

Also when i a bulking diet you wont have to rely on supps as heavily because you are allrdy eating a lot of food, you should get a lot more nutrients from food, the mindset of "the magic pill" is so annoying. Although i am not saying dont use any supplements just dont rely on them rely on your food. Creatine (if it works for u) glutamine proteine would be good choices.

As far as length goes i think terminator is a little of base, 8-10 weeks is exclent for a cycle but for a natural athlete on a mass gain fase it not enough. I would bulk untill you cant anymore, defining can't as summer is to close and u need to start cutting or you really cant take looking like a fat slob anymore. For me a bulk fase usually last my whole "off-season" winter :D
