where should BF% be when starting a cycle?

OK guys, what kind of shape should you be in when starting a cycle.

Here's some info on me and tell me what you think.
April: BF%=32%
Aug: BF%=20% (lost 12% bodyfat / gained 9lbs muscle)
I did this by getting off my fat ass and hitting the weights and cardio. Plus I really watched my diet.
I would like to get to 10% by next Aug.. When should I start thinking about my first cycle? How much lower should I get?

Also, what would be a good begining cycle to help me hit 10%.
 
It is not about losing body fat, it is about peaking your natural ability. You need to work out hard consistently for years to even come close. Are you going to ever do bulking cycles, or just cutting?
My recommendation would be before you do a cycle try to do every thing that is required during a cycle (i.e. eating 5000 cal for bulking, or dieting and cardio for cutting) for 10 weeks) You will be happy with the results, before you ever touch gear. Then once you have a good basis then consider it. You gains will be much better.
 
Get your BF% down to 10 first, then do bulking cycles. The advantages: (1) You will gain more muscle with less fat gain and water retention; (2) Your lipid profile will stay within normal limits (meaning your cholesterol and tryglycerides won't elevate); (3) Your cutting cycles will be easy. You will be able to stay in shape year-round.
