once its prepared it doesnt need to be refrigerated....like stated above, cool dark place

In a ziplock airtight plastic bag in the fridge. I believe it won't hurt, just as long as it's dry, and out of light, keeping in the fridge might/will extend the half-life to some degree if any.

heh I do the same thing. I have mine in my closet but I pull it out every night and sit it on my desk so I can stare at it for a little bit.
