Where do you guys get your avatars?

I see a lot of interesting avatars around here. I have trouble finding anything around doesn't get refused for being too large. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A google image search works well, and then I crop it down to 100x100 pixels. I use Photoshop cause I have it, but other programs can reduce the size just as well.

all kinds of dirty e-mails that i have sized down cause i dont know how to do it. by the way does anyone want to size one down for me? i will e-mail it to you for you to do as long as you send it back.
