Whenever I turn on my computer

the display is only 17 inch instead of 19" original screen size. I just installed a new video/graphics card and I`m sure it`s from that, it started immediately after installation.

I can manually resize it from the moniter controls but is a PITA at every startup. Is there a "save" setting I could use?

I don't think anyone's going to know the exact answer to this. There's probably some sort of software with utilities on it that came with your video card that will fix it. Go to the website of the company that made the card and download the latest drivers. If all else fails, call the company's support line and say WHASSUP WITH THIS BITCHES.

hmmmmm, thinking....

you running windows? if you are, you can try to right click on the desktop, properties, and one of the tabs in there you can get into the resolution. depending on the card there might be options from there to make adjustments to it as well, as in the positioning and what not.

sorry, kinda flying by remote cause i'm not in windows right now and don't feel like rebooting over to it.

Good enough. Thanks a lot! They helped me with the install of the new card and told me to resize it while they were on the phone. I did NOT realise it had to be redone everytime I restarted the computer.
