do you cook 'em in butter?

I'm just curious.

Do people even do it with just milk rather than milk/butter?

My mom makes them milk and butter, and I refused to eat them at dinner because they were made this way.

just curious

I just bake them plain and add a little butter to them.

Dude the best part of that clip are his Ray Bans, watch them closely.

Did they fly off his face? LOL What the hell is he trying to accomplish by running full speed into a large board?

He's trying to break it, notice the guys behind the board with interlaced(red-rover) arms to cushion his 'break through'.

when i ate unhealthy we'd cook them with butter and salt on the skins..mmmm.

bake them in butter? isn't that called 'boiling'?

I either nuke them, after just washing them and poking a hole in them and thats it, or i wrap em in foil and put them on the grill or in the oven.

if i'm making them for someone else, i rub a little butter and kosher salt on the skins before wrapping them in the foil.

If you don;t mind my asking, what is kosher salt and how does it differ from gentile salt.

it has little black curls of hair on it and isn't washed.

lol..
its bigger, and has less sodium i think.. i don't know- it tastes better and flavors the food but isn't as 'salty' tasting. its like sea salt kinda. i use that too. i'm very into salt. i mean, good salt.

Before she mashes the potatoes get you some out and make them the way you want.

I prefer whipped sweet potatoes/yams. :p

My mom always peeled the potatoes, sliced them up, drop them in boiling water until they are squishable, some butter & milk & mash away.

I couldn't tell you the last time I had mashed potatoes - I just clean them, poke some holes in the skin, wrap in foil, bake at 450 degrees for 45-55 min depending on how big they are, or grill for an hour.
