When to bulk?

So I am trying to lean out just a bit and regain some strength lost during a recent haiatus. I am about 185 and I would estimate to be about 12-15 % bf. It's hard for me to get an accurate measurement because of the lack of resources in the 3rd world country I am currently working in, but I can still see my abs fairly well.

At what point should I switch from leaing out to going for some serious mass again?

From what I`ve been reading here, you should shoot for at least under 15% because you will gain better in that state. I`m in the same boat your in. I`m on CKD and will bulk when I get in the single digits.

I always used the rule of thumb 10% bodyfat, I noticed that it's most effective. While the fat gains will come, you might hit 12-14%, it will ultimately be easier to lean out.

because you won't look like a fat slob when you're done....

imagine if you bulk w/ 17% bf and go up to 21%, that's awful, but w/ 10% going up to 14-15 is fine.
