I would never use a woman's condom, unless I was dating her for a long time or knew her VERY well and trusted her. If I'm not prepared then I go without sex.

My reason is this: I've known TWO women in my lifetime who were single but wanted kids so badly that they would buy condoms and take a pin to them to poke holes through them, and then fuck around hoping to get pregnant by some fling. One of my best friends got "trapped" that way, he married her because he wanted to do the right thing, now he's miserable.

I love women, but I've seen sides to them that make me cover my own ass (or dick in this case) when dealing with females I don't know or trust. No way in hell would I use a single chick's condom, EVER.

When all is said and done, I agree with your assessment of things. It's better to be responsible and safe, even if that means the female providing the condoms.

Holy shit. This is exactly what my ex did to me. That is why I have a 5 year old daughter now. I always supplied the condoms and then one day she was like, "Oh, I picked up some condoms. I figured we could start splitting the bill on them". She even admitted to pin-pricking them to one of her friends. My daughter is cool as hell, best thing that has ever happened to me, but if I were single and on the prowl again, I would never trust a woman's condoms.

i find it weird that in this day and age some guys are still forced to marry simply because a woman is carrying their child. sounds kinda old fashioned in a way.

Sexual rites are much more than biological imperatives or mere sexual instincts. Humans are much more than animals, we have the ability to use our brain for rational thought, rather than relying on our simplisitic instinctual natures to determine our behaviour. That being said, not all people choose to think, some just act, though as a whole we do rationalize our behaviour.

Using the biological argument here is a cop-out as sexuality is a multi-faceted issue.

I acknowledged hon that we are rational beings. Yes we can overcome our biology.

But it is misguided in my estimation to dismiss it or fault an individual for having the natural impusles they do.

They did a study one time where they lined up men behind a glass partition and had women by the score go in and choose a potential date with invented backgrounds for the men. There was attractice, albeit short guy in the group. he was always given by far the better resume so to speak. First he was a successful doctor. Then they upgraded him to a millionair doctor with patents. Then added best sellign author, gourmet cook etc etc etc. The ppor guy couldnt get a date no matter what they claimed on his behalf, and the high school gym teacher over 6ft tall beat him out repeatedly.:)

Were all those women evil? Do you have a prefernec e for muscular guys? Tall guys? Successful guys?

And if you do, you are in good company wth just about every other woman on the planet:)

Im sure you could date a short guy, or a skinny guy, or a non successful man. But when you do so it goes against your nature, and generally is neither as quick or powerful at first as the former types.

Men date promiscous women. Hell we marry them etc etc. But almost no man is as attracted to as a promiscous girl as he would be to a "good girl." Not for a serious relationship. We can fall in love with other qualities, and do, just as women do in men. But dont selectively fault our instincts without examinign those of women

If I were single I would not carry condoms. I never have had spontaneous sex with a stranger or someone I don't know all that well.

If the moment were to have arrived where myself and someone I was dating were getting hot and heavy I would ask : "do you have a condom?" If the answer is no: then we don't have sex. It can wait until the next time.

im going to go with division and agree that your reasoning is simplistic. attraction to a partner (casually or for something longer term) is more complicated than a biological need to spread seed, and while that particular need is intrinsically strong (in most people) attraction too multifaceted to be thought of so casually.

from your statements above i get the impression that you think that a mans lesser attraction to a promiscuous woman is based on a lesser 'biologically' based sense of attraction. while that may be true in the case of some sort of subconcious sense of how diseased a woman is etc, imo you cannot discount the repulsion felt by some men when faced with a promiscuous woman solely due to social conditioning - ie learned behaviour, not instinct. the same thing applies to the increased sense of attraction to the so called "good" girl. then again, a logical solution is that men are concerned about promiscuity in that any subsequent (or previous offspring) from the same woman may compete with their mothers attention during their upbringing.

anyway i dont pretend to be a psychologist (since they are, as a rule, pretty messed up people...hello div! :D :chomp: ) but i dont agree with your statement that a promiscuous woman is a "biological dead end". it just doesnt sit right with me. common sense and personal experience seeing promiscuous women as being highly sought after just discount what you said, in my mind.

I always used condoms with my (ex)fiance, along with BC pills. Neither of us wanted a child and we made DAMN sure we weren't going to have one. Condoms went EVERYWHERE with us, just incase we had a few moments of privacy. I'm sure that's the case for several single women... better safe than sorry. It continues to be the case for me.

Who's to say a woman sleeps around a lot if she has condoms in her purse anyway? Did you ever stop to think that she probably doesn't sleep with just anyone, but when she does meet someone she would like to have sex with she wants to be sure there's protection?
