cram in as much food as I can anyway, and wait it out. This just happened to me a week ago, 4 weeks in, bad fever, coughing up blood, etc, I stayed on, ate as much as I could, didnt lose any weight, and this week have gained another 4lbs

Try some natural antibiotics (bovine lactoferrin, olive leaf extract, oregano oil, and or citricidal). Take a general immune stimulant like IP-6 or MGN3 as well.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one....but when sick, I will not only cut down on intake but trips to the gym as well. How much will a couple of days either way really interfer with the results? Basically, it won't .... so long as you train a little harder the next week. I typically listen to my body and react accordingly.

I eat comfort food... it's easier to stomach, and IMO is better then no food...

I make sure I get my cals regardless if Im on or not. If that means Im thowin down a pizza and some wings then so be it. Its easier for me to lose weight than it is to gain, so I rather add fat than lose weight.

^ Agreed...

I try and keep my protein up, but my appetite tends to DIE on the rare occasions I get sick. So my cals go down some, but I try and put in shakes to keep the protein high. I rest up, go easy or skip the gym a few days, then hit it hard again when I feel better. No sense pushing it when I won't get results.

Yea, taking days off is HARD though. But, gotta listen to the body
