I know how essential it is to get the calories in...........except I've tried it all.......b-12, mwry jane, cardio, no cardio, train 3x week, train 6x week, more fiber, less fiber, etc........nothing ramps my appetite........eq or not. So, I'm thinking about tring mary again, once a night, before bed, so I can get my last BIG meal in.....is this detremental? If it got me hungry and I managed to put away 800-1000 more calories consisting of fats and protein (peanuts, cottage cheese, shake) and then passed out 5 mins later, would it be pretty much stored as fat? I train late night, get my pw shake in, and then find it very hard to get a meal in before bed. #1 cause I'm pushed for time before bed. #2, because I usually too exausted to be hungry........so I was thinking about possibly hitting a small bowl, hopefully getting the munchies, and tossing down 4-5 large handfulls of peanuts, some dry curd and a thick shake........detremental?

Yeah! that will get you fat! As the bodys metabolisms slows the remaining calories will be stored as fat.
Your biggest meal should be in the AM.

ok...what is I cut the peanuts to about 30, added some fiberous veggies, and a thick shale...........

ANY BETTER? or dont worry about it.........

Why can't you train in the morning? Even if you gotta go work at 8, it's best to get up at 5 and work out. Just go to sleep earlier.

After working out, your body craves carbs and protein. And I'm not just talking about 0-4 hours after, I mean as much as 12 hours after. If you work out at night and have 1 or 2 meals, you won't get enough calories to grow, since you'll go into a fasting state during sleep.

You'll also feel more hungry during the day if you work out early.

I actually just stopped taking my shake right before bed. I am waiting to see how my body responds to that.
A buddy of mine who is quite large (5'9" 275, real low bf) used to get up and take them in the middle of the night. He said it kept him awake from getting up to urinate all the time. So he switched to making his last shake in a blender with a few spoon fulls of natural peanut butter. I guess the fat slows down the digestion process etc. No more middle of the night shakes.
He is lean as hell. Competes nationally. Swears by having it that way.
I don't go above 10% bf ever... and I don't like cardio. So a shake before sleep can't be that bad.
As I said though... i have discontinued it to see if I lean out more. I know I am hungry as hell when i get up. Then again I am hungry all day long.
Not sure if I helped. Thought you would want to know your not the only one thinking about this stuff...

Ok slat.............I wanna be as big as you someday..............lol.......nah, but you look good..........my problem.........I train at night, I get my pw shake in, and by the time I can get in a meal, it's minutes before bed.

Would you advise against the nuts, shake and cottage cheese? I gotta get something in right? Too many nuts???? thanks bro

I'm no expert by any means. I have been told that the more real food the better.
Judging by your pictures in the past I think you know a lot about nutrition than you give yourself credit for. You are always real lean. I'm not sure I would change anything if I were you. If you are looking for more size I would just increase the number of meals you are having each day... but... still eat the same way.
I don't think you can have too many nuts... maybe try switching to something like Teddy all natural peanut butter... unsalted... super chunky. Blend that in with you shake and see how it effects you.
BTW.. at 6'3"... 237 is not big by any means. Sounds big... looks like 190!

I don't recommend smoking Chronic to increase cals. It's an excuse. Just eat a jar of PB with some steak for you last meal. That will take care of needing more cals.
