It has been nearly 2 years since my Brother died, and still do shit like that. The pain eases over time, but it never heals. All you have now is memories. I hope you can find some peace.

One lesson to me is, if you are gonna have close friends - someday you will have to lose them. But to me it was a blessing to have him to train and hang with for 8 years...i'm pretty much emotionally drained now, but have bursted out laffing when reflecting on some fun days.

Just cherish each day with each other.

On a serious note - I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I couldn't imagine what that must be like. (I just stopped to try and imagine my best friend dying and it and it was too terrible just to think of)

When you are feeling up to it, if you need someone to lift with drop me a PM, my schedule is pretty rough, but I still get in 3x a week, and I live right off the T. And if you are interested I could get you into the U gym - everyone there is a weakass - but the equipment is pretty nice and the sight of some the 18-21 year old tail there might take your mind off things for an hour or so.
