I take mine in the morning, and after a workout, THAT'S IT(not at night anymore) because it used to keep me awake at night. How about y'all? I mean is it more effective to use it 3x a day?

!) as soon as i get up, 50/50 whey soy
whole food: breakfast
2) 50/50 whey soy
---whole food: lunch---
3) 50/50 whey soy
4) post weights, 50/50 whey soy and 50 grams of carbs.
---whole food: dinner---
5)right before bed time, Casein

i aim for around about 350 grams of protein a day...... I hate eating whole food protein so the shakes come in handy.... Shakes also save money.... Chicken, beef and fish are expensive...

i take one immediately after i work out and i just started taking one before bed. It's whey protein so it's not optimal for before bed but i added some nat. P/B hoping to slow it down a bit. other than that i try to get a majority of my protein from food

I use it 1-2 times for meals but include flax
post workout with dextrose
Before bed to feed my muscles during sleep.

I have one when I get up (4:30 am), one 8:30 (these consist of protein powder, soy milk, oatmeal and a banana. I have one today for lunch because I am getting sick of chicken.

is it necessary to add flax to your post-workout shake??

I'm thinking that too much fat in a post-workout shake will hinder absorption of the protein (i.e., slow it down)....which probably isn't what you're after following a hard workout.

Save the flax for right before bed....which is a perfect time for slowing down protein digestion.

the fat is also easily stored because of the insulin spike that most endure following your post workout shake... save the fat for other times of the day

Is it ok to have say that many protein drinks instead of having shitloads of chicken and ect.

No. With the exception of post workout, it is ALWAYS preferrable to have a real meal.
