When can I take some time off?

I recently came off a 4 month cycle (tren/eq/prop) on 9/20 and im starting to recover. So far Ive kept all my weight and strength due to training hard and eating like 6k cals a day. My sex drive is pretty good. The last time I took a week off was last october (2002), and Im starting to feel kinda burnt out. I want to take a week or two off to let my joints recover a bit. I wanted to know how long I should wait until I could take a week off from training and eating without losing my hard earned muscle?

I agree. If you're burnt out, rest, then come back with a different routine.

Try taking 3-4 days off and see how you feel.

i just took threee weeks off after going solid for almost two years.....lost some weight, lost some deffinition, but i deffinitely have come back with a vengeance and more drive in the gym.

I say go for it...worked for me:)

i took 2 weeks off about 2 months after pct...it almost killed all my gains...i was vacationing so i ate like shit, and drank my face off, so my advice is take time off(2 weeks MAY be pushing it) but continue with the other aspects of ur BB lifestyle

vshape---today is 3 weeks off from gym---not by choice though, got into car accident--really messed up my neck/back--i was in the middle of a btg ox 30mg/day cycle on week 7----fucking pissed as shit--anyways, i lost my apetite, so the only thing i really eat is like a chicken breast every 4 hours and although i am losing some muscle, i am really leaning out(skinny/ripped). But getting back to my point..i can't wait to get back into the gym, i was going strong for like 2 years .....so maybe just take some time off, but kepp your diet in check... good luck bro

i think taking a week off is an excellent idea, i usually take a week of once every 4-5 months.
that way when you return you'll be fully recovered and your body won't be used to the weight as before, you'll shock your body into growth IMO.

Time off

I'd take a week off, definately. You've been going strong for over a year with no time off, so I'm thinkin 2 weeks wouldn't kill you (Or your gains). Just eat accordingly and get plenty of rest (the whole point behind taking time off).
