Wheeler hospitalized

Im not sure if this has been discussed before since my search function decides to work only half the time and it decided not to now.

Does anyone has info on this? I was reading FLEX magazine and in the Arnold write up they mention him being hospitalized for malfunctioning kidneys. I hope he fully recovers.

This also brings me to another point what can be taken for kidney protection besides carnberry juice. Maybe we are overlooking how harsh anabolics besides fina are on our kidneys.

What i found out looking on the web
After the Olympia Weekend Mr. O contest, Flex went to the hospital after being treated by paramedics at the show. Flex was breathing quite hard during the Mr. O show, and at one time, could not get up after posing and bending over. Many athletes said that Flex was dehydrated, and that he did not time his eating and drinking correctly, for fear of holding water. Diuretics was another concern, as well as low sodium levels, but Flex did not say much. Flex did leave Las Vegas quite dissapointed in his 3rd place win.

I don't think he is in hospital right now.. he was present at Shawn's wedding 10 days ago.

It's a wonder how any of the big pros have any kidney function. AS is HARSH on your kidneys and guess what.........your kidneys go, you go. You CANNOT survive without proper kidney function.

I heard this a long time ago from a personal trainer from the venice area. Didnt know what to believe back then. That rumor has been around for a while. If its true, why wouldnt he be straight up about it? Not like they knew about the full range of risks of AAS back then so it would be like admitting he knew he was doing something harmful to his body.
