it is kind of a dead end job (from what i know of it) but the pay is good. You'd only work 16 hours a week, but you'd make about $25-30 an hour.

Or an OT. The money is better and the hours not as bad. The schooling is a bitch, though.

physical therapy would be a rewarding job as well... that way you wouldn't have to screw over you patients like the banks screw over their customers... right now i am contemplating a career change as well.. considering i don't really have one right now... however i don't want to go back into the field i was in.

I'm pleased with my current salary, lately Ultrasound technicians have been in high demand, to become an UT = 24,000, but you clock around $100-150 an hour, money is paid up front in regards to the 24,000. peace

The career is : Vascular Ultrasound or Ultrasound technician. Maybe do a search under the above and under "the society of diagnostic medical sonographers" , I will see if I can find any more info. peace
