What's Your Motivation?

What is your major motivation to...
...not stray from your diet?
...not drink alcohol even if you get pressure to do it?
...complete your workout even it it hurts like hell?
...go to the gym consistently?
...take drugs that make you uncomfortable at times?
 
....mostly it is vanity
....sometimes it is because of a grudge
....sometimes it is because of a hard day's work
....sometimes it is because of an ex-girlfriend
....sometimes is is because of a current girlfriend
....I like to switch it up from time to time
....but mostly it is because of vanity

Any time I get the urge to not go to the gym I scare myself into believing that maybe this is the beginning of me not training anymore...that gets my ass in everytime!

I also like being physically able to do anything I want, on a whim. Run for miles, hike a for a few hours,bike for miles, water ski, snow ski and not have it be an uncomfortable tiring experience.
 
PUSSY!!!!!!! just being honest....and it works well! i also enjoy the other perks that go with it....its kinda fucked up, but i find im more respected now when i walk through the club.....sober of corse;)
 
my motovation is the attention i get from the ladies when i go out,and when i am in the gym and see myself in the mirror doesnt hurt either.
 
basically i have two motivators...the first is that when i see myself i see flaws, i work my tail off hopin to change them...the second motivator is progress, seein my body change keeps me comin back for more.

women is NO motivation for you? i enjoy working out for the same reasons you do, but the women for me, is the biggest perk!

why should women be motivation..ive seen fat asses get all the hot chicks..so for me it aint that..the ability to set a goal and achieve it and to constantly break boundaries..and lift some sick ass weight!!
 
true that....its all part of the big package to me.....there are NO drawbacks for me (yet) just positve things going on in life...
but i do gotta say i love the pussy;)

Same here bro. I'm married so I could give a damn if the chicks dig it. I do it for me.
 
my motivation is getting results...I'm married to so I could care less about getting women....but it's nice to get hit on though;)
 
Personal challenge. I love the feeling of making new personal records. I also am addicted to the feeling of being strong and healthy, and just generally "fit". I just like that idea that my body is a muscle machine. Sometimes before a workout, I put on my Mp3 player, listen to a good tune, get mentally pshcyed out for my workout, and I feel like I can literally run thrhough a brick wall. Then I have a grueling workout, so bad that I can barely drive home, and it just feels so rewarding. I am also a firm believer of "healthy body, healthy mind".

I am not going to lie to you ... the ladies admiring the build is a nice bonus as well. Girls at my work always feel me and say "feel how hard he is", and they all rub me down. hahahha. Kinda funny. Its a little embarrassing, and I know that other "not so hard guys", get pissed off at it, but ... hey. ... its not my fault that you dont train insanely like I do. ANyways ... I am into training for the long haul. I hope to be pumping hard when I am 50.

a lot of it is to avoid looking like the human sloths all my mates have become.

how can you go from being a fit and perky 20 year old to being a fat, saggy, ugly walking corpse within 5 years? YUK

i do it for who i want to be for the rest of my life

#1 is easy...not wasting the hard earned money and time in the gym for those simple pleasures.
#2 Knowing it can amplify damage to my body that can become peremant.
#3 Knowing that champions hurt like hell...and if I can control the damage I do to my body and provide the building blocks I will grow.

#5 Sometimes you need to try new things that your body
can not handle...but sooner or later you stumble onto the combo that works for you and you alone...sorting thru all those is the most uncomfortable, and being prepared with proper antis and knowlege is key.
