whats this i hear about sucking back into needle

i saw on post about sucking back into the needle before injecting, what is this and im gonna do fina so i need to know.

You pull back to see if blood enters the syringe. Blood is BAD...means you are in a blood vessel. If this happens pull out and try again. Its called aspirating.
