there is this gym (not sure if its a chain) in vegas that has a huge sign on their parking lot that says "ladies join for free". what kind of marketing strategy is this? im sure if a male acquired a good attourney, he could sue them for big money

bc my gym has insane equipment, but is a total sausage factory...the people that come there leisurly want hot chicks...i work at my gym, and i told my boss to do the same thing...its not like they are losing money letting hot chicks in!

i know the gym i work at i have kicked people out for harassing other people. we had a guy who would talk about death to everyone his first day there. I told him to leave and never come back.


why do u think country clubs only allow certain people in?? a lot of clubs in my area offer free admission if u have a college ID. basically what they are saying is they want young hip people in their club and are willing to let them in for free while the high school drop out has to pay a cover. you can't sue for it.

Yep. It's not even just in the South, I know there are a few around Philly that don't allow blacks.

On Wednesdays the local Car Wash has half price for Ladies Day. I hate wearing those high heels but they shine the car up nice for half off.

Sometimes a company AFTER reading their books, Sees that they don`t have a certain clientele. In this case it was probably women. So they have this "women free" special at the gym and hope it attracts others to come, or repeat clients after the "special" is over.

If they were getting tons of girls joining before the special, They would NOT do it of course. They`re just trying to make up their shortfall.

Technically you would have a foundation for a lawsuit. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination based on race, color, sex, religion, or national origin. Since then other protected classes have been added familial status and age.

Whether or not its a private enterprise makes no difference whatsoever.

There are only a few exceptions under the law, seniors only communities is one of them.

But realistically what guy is going to file a lawsuit like that.
