Now they're "Kitchen Fresh Chicken" instead of Kentucky Fried Chicken????

It's still crappy food & bad for you....deceptive advertising now?
 
What would be deceptive is if they advertised "We've taken the fried, out of KFC....come visit us at Kitchen Fresh Chicken".
 
well technically they've been trying to lose the word "fried" from their advertising. Notice for the last 5-7 years they've been called "KFC" and not Kentucky Friend Chicken b/c there is a negative connotation to the word "fried".

as for deceptive advertising, most of advertising is deceptive.

i love how they promote the "low carb" thing...and they still aren't low in my standards of low carb food

yeah that was funny. the commercial said, if you take the skin off the chicken it'll be low carb. who the hell goes to KFC to take the skin off the chicken?

Hell, some people just eat the skin and throw the chicken away.

Wait-- are you trying to say that the extra-crispy fried chicken crispy coating isn't dense with nutrients, low in carbs, and fat free? I'm shocked. :(

Aren't they using a bioengineered chicken with no extremities, just a living ball of meat, called "Animal 43" or something of the sort?
 
A woman I used to work with LOVES the chicken skin so whenever I would cook a whole chicken I'd bag up the crisped skin (I always slathered it with butter) & bring it in to her.

She's about 200 lbs or so, maybe bigger
 
Their chicken handling standards have come under Health Dept. scrutiny more times than you can find grains of sand on daytona beach.

I was at a hearing in NYState about them in the late '80s. THE HORROR. You might do better by eating shit.

That's OK, they go through drive thru girls monthly...and get some pretty cute ones :D
 
I live in KY, and none of them have changed names here.

You do see more double restaurants now though.
