What's going on with the Amish?

Some news special report of a hostage situation in rural Lancaster Co. PA in a Amish school where a number of people (possibly children?) were shot.

The gunman let all the boys and the adult teacher go. He tied all the girls feet and lined them up at the blackboard. When he started shooting he shot every female student and killed a teenaged female aide as well. A fucking monster.
