What's a good mac notebook?

My brother is still whining about wanting a Mac notebook. He doesn't want a desktop. I told them software for macs are expensive, and they're overrated.

Anyways, are all the notebooks the same - or is the most expensive one out there, the best? I can't find a quad notebook.

no such thing as a good mac notebook... Macs are for hippies and trendies.. also for graphic designers too stupid to realise they can also design just as easily on a pc.

Also all a macintosh is, is a fancy GUI slapped on a BSD based OS, they call it innovation, I call it overprices bullcrap.

Mac are overpriced and non-customizable. They also control rights over software code in a way that makes MS seems like the Red Cross.

I have a black MacBook. Works very well. If he isn't doing high intensity graphics, then he probably doesn't need a MacBook Pro unless he just wants a bigger screen.

My work computer is a white MacBook (with the camera removed as required by government regulations). Most of our computers are either Linux or Macs. Only about 25% of computers are Windows based. We had to move away from them for security reasons.
