what would you do?

I bought a small, local paper and they had a listing of all the people with unclaimed investments/property/etc.

It was a long list, and something made me look to see if my last name was there, which would be stupid since i've only lived in this county a few months.

Where my name would have been, was the owner of the company i work for. a man worth millions.

Would you:
a. email him and say "you don't know me, but i work for you and found your name in the, blah blah blah"

b. take the paper to his office until you find him in and hope that he's impressed by you and your sweater meat and gives you a raise/promotion.

c. forget it. the guy probably knows about it and you'd be a pest to do anything.

I would tell him that there are unclaimed funds in state escrow and that for a commission of 30% of the unclaimed funds, I would recover them for him. That's the lawyer in me, though.

Well if he lives in the same area then I am sure that he saw the paper, therefor he probably knows already.

I told an MD friend of mine of a few thousand of unclaimed funds in his name and he was aware of it, but wasn't interested in collecting because of insurance reasons.

I'd just stop posting on EF for awhile and see if any of your problems get better.

he lives in a different township and may not even get this paper, let alone look at this long ass list of names in the classifed section. I don't even know why i looked, other than i do that sort of thing a lot (i find things, i guess things correctly, i say the same thing as someone else at the same time, etc. not that I look in the classified section a lot).

i think i found his name for a reason. so i can show off my sweater meat.

Show him the damn sweater meats already and stfu!

and speaking of sweaters, i bought a white ralph lauren cable knit, v neck summer weight sweater this morning for $24.

and shoes.

woooooooohooooooooooooo!

The choice is simply A. How do you think he got to where he is? Not by being mr nice guy but by being mr smart guy. People make money an your choice A all the time. Anyway unless he inheritted his cash A.

BUT you need to modify your choice A and involve a third party because he can not give you a check if he does not have a name to write it to. Its a small worl though if he finds out you just happen to know the person that is presenting this opportunity to him.

well i can't lie and extort money.
i emailed him. and i'll bring in the paper on monday and hope that he's there (he may be out this whole week at a tradeshow).
