no, not the show with mark summers. i'd like some opinions. my girlfriend of 1.5 years has been giving me reason to believe she's up to no good. her email password was stored on my computer. i log onto her email in search of some sort of proof. lets not get into the morality/invasion of privacy issue...i'm confident i will burn in the tenth circle of hell for this. shady, but oh so tempting. so i find some emails between her and a younger professor at our college...basically her asking him to come to her place and hang out, see a movie, etc. this isnt the first time i've found out about this sort of thing. i'm normally not this nosey or insecure, but if it weren't for my sleuth like detective skills, all of this would go down unbeknownst to her loving boyfriend. we've been through a lot, but i'm not down with having to deal w/ trust issues. given the shadyness of how i came across the info, how would you handle the situation.

this is my first c&c thread...i apologize for its pussyesque nature, but this has me riled up.
 
if you didnt trust her enough that you felt the need to snoop you need to leave,and then you found shady shit proving you cant trust her,so leave.

the solution is pretty cut and dry, yes. i was more or less wondering how other people would handle the situation, i.e. "hey i looked through your email. i may be a privacy invading bastard but..." stuff like that.

you have real issues to think that a "wow" is condescending.

IF I were being condescending, I would have something like:


"While you are snooping through her email - look in her purse as well - maybe you will find your missing set of balls."

anyway....You need to end it with her. You have found this type of thing twice...she is not going to change...she didn't the first time....past behaviors predict future behaviors.......Sorry
 
I would just say to her that your gut feelings are never wrong and you proved it. You followed your gut knowing full well if you confronted her without knowing the real deal she would have lied and called you an insecure asshole...bla bla bla. I have doen the same kind of shit myself....its a good closure to just KNOW.....and women will lie to the bitter end....trust me she will still try and come up with some "it was just an innocent email" Type of excuse....If a womans sexual habits change over night, if they have a 180 degree sudden change of heart over certain things that they never have, or if they start being really paranoid about YOU fucking around with no good reason they are almost always guilty. Been there dude and you did the right thing.

yeah dude, i appreciate it. i've just been a spectator here and sort of expected for some to be rude...like i said, overly defensive. you guys can be a tough crowd sometimes. tough, but entertaining.
