What would you do??

Took a close look at some of my organon deca amps they look ok but on one of them the silver part has definatly been attempted to be removed or removed and squezzed back on. Its not on straight and one side is crushed a little like as if the opposite side has like I said been lifted. I tried to take the top off last night and it would have come off easily.

Should I just take this as someone has taken the top off and replaced the deca with some stupid crap? Or should I go ahead and use it?????

As you know, caps should never come off without some real force or usage of tools.. so if its all fucked up and about to come off why go with the risk?, unless you like injecting cooking oil bro.

I dont think someone would bother taking the top of the amp off, extract the gear and then try to close it again.
Dont be so paranoid.
Not all amps from the factory are perfect looking.
