If you and your pregnant wife (who are canadian) went down to the USA on vacation and she had the baby down south.

would the baby be american ? If so when you take the baby home would the baby have dual citizenship ?

see my sister was born in the states as my madre and parde were in the states at the time
(madres is americana) while i was born in RSA so i had to apply for US citizenship (i have a f'd up SS#)
