I saw a TV special on this once (don't ask).

Guess what researchers found to be the MOST torturing way to die humanly possible.

Guess.

Losing sight, sound, touch, feel, all senses. But you're still alive and kept alive for years and years but you're conscious. Your mind would literally go insane from screaming 'kill me' over and over again all day. I think a couple movies were made about this.
