What will happen if we start getting suicide bombed??

I'm talking about here in the homeland, terrorist just start blowing up malls, schools,hospitals, etc,etc.

Lets face it, there's no real way to stop them completely, what could be done??

Will there be mass hysteria? Will people eventully start to take the law into their own hands?

Do you think all muslims(peaceful or not) would flee the country out of fear of a type of racial retaliation??
