what went wrong..i think i had a carb crash?

i thought i did everything to the book...
heavy legs workout then 3x 100mg r-ala followed by protein shake w 30g protein powder, skim milk, oats, strawberries.

about 40mins later i couldnt stay awake in my lecture..i felt sick. I came home and had a bowl of mince beef and vegies. I feel heaps better now.

what should I have done to avoid that again?
 
Heavy resistance training increases insulin sensitivity by nature. Add that to too much r-ALA (the dose is 100mg per every 30 grams of carbs), and what you experienced is perfectly normal.
