for ultimate protection go with Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen SPF 30+. You use this after you are moron and stayed out in the sun too long and became lobster red and you don't want any sun pentrating your skin again when you go outside, or if you're ghost white and always burn. You have to get it at the dermatologist office or online. But if you want great protection and still tan a little bit then go with L'Oreal Ombrelle Milk 60 spf. For the face go with La Roche-Posay Hydraphase UV SPF 30. As for tanning oils they don't provide much protection at all so I don't recommend them unless you have a deep tan already and don't plan on staying out in the sun for long.
