Screwdrivers, must of bought over 600 screwdrivers( I am not kidding) motorcyle tie down straps, gas cans(I have no idea where they dissapear too) , crecent wrenches and vice grips and battery chargers.

For me its 12mm sockets, needle-nose pliers, and small flat blade screwdrivers. And general purpose rope. I buy rope probably once a month and never have a clue where it ends up.

drill bits
Always going dull, breaking or losing them

2 cycle lawn equipment
Never lasts more than 2 years

I don't really lose tools, I try to take pretty good care of em... I try to get stuff that is warrantied too (cause it never seems to break)

I do end up replacing can openers all the time (damn tuna cans!@)

always misplacing screwdrivers....seems like every time i need to use one, i don't have the right size or shape (flathead vs philips).

I never had a problem with misplacing my tools when I was doing contract work.

Buy right or buy twice is what comes to mind when debating which of the same tool to buy.

Try buying Stihl next time.

And not the consumer level bullshit, the commercial equipment.
