dude make sure all the fluid is out of the top and just hold it in your hand and push the top away from u with ur thumb it works trust me!

Sometimes the amps break when you try and snap the top off. I just use some pliers and break the glass at the very top part of the amp. There may be easier ways but I have never wasted any since using this method.
