Im planning on going with this wife this Thanksgiving for 10 days or so. If anybody has any experience when it comes to sightseeing in these countries, it would be oodles of help.
Get the meat plate and the local brew when you go out to eat. If your lucky you'll get to crap in a public bathroom that is a hole in the ground. LOL. Tiolet paper on the outside.
hi' i've bummed around europe a bit, but am no expert.
in switzerland bern and geneva were very nice. geneva is probably the most structured city i have been in. i'd love to live there one day.
germany is very beautiful as well, so green. i have reall only been to munich as i have some relatives there and its a busy city but worth the visit. i've taken the train from various different parts and it all seems beautiful.
In Germany I would go to Munich to party. I like the Atomic Cafe and other clubs near it. The area near the Main Train Station is cool too. Great restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. Nearby Oberammergau is the classic German small town if you have time to drive the hour from Munich.
