what to help joints, I am allergic to shellfish

thus, I cannot take Glucosamine. I have heard that cod liver oil gelcaps would be good and perhaps FLAX oil??

thanks and karma for helping me out, my joints are always in chronic pain.

well, my ankles are always popping, I can pop my groin and a lot of places in my body it seems like joints/cartilage is grinding. The absolute worst is my rear delts, back of the neck/rotators. When I do pull-ups for example I cannot pull straight up I have to be hanging away from the bars(ie I have to pull my chin up away from the bar and not tucked in like a behind the neck pulldown/pullup)

I think I injured myself doing behing the neck pulldowns and it never go better. either that or something is pressing on the muscle, my uncle is an ortho and he says it is not joint related, but who knows!

ZYG- I looked at a muscle chart and most of my pain is focused at the Rhomboids and the lower back/hip abductors(gluteus minimus). My lower back strains when I push my abs out and the rhomboids kill simply when I look down at my feet and turn my head side to side.

Chiro, orthos, nothing has helped!
 
i cant take glucosamine either. not sure whats in shellfish. is it sulfur? anyways, im allergic to sulfur, so glucosamine, chondroitan, MSM, DMSO are all out. i asked my orthopeadic what i could take for the joint pain, and he said, quote "you're pretty much screwed." i'm using flax seed oil, and it seems to help, but only marginally. hope some of this helps!
 
For cartillage, you might want to check out organic silica/silicium.

Make a search for it on google. A brand name is Flexilium.
