What to do in downtown Chi-town?

Just curious as to what all of you from Chicago do on the weekends. I personally love clubbing and I'd love to hear peoples opinions on clubs, as well as other bars and what not. I love going to Whitestar (if I'm in the mood to wait 2 hours to get in), Buzz, and Circus. Karma used to be the shit. Too bad it's gone now.

try nocturnal on saturday, or there is always trusty crobar, even though its basically over.... i dont know, im a firm believer that a club is only as good as your company. teri bristol is working body@chromium on fridays, my buddy runs it but looking for somewhere with a later license and just an overall more organized ownership. just some suggestions.

Yeah, I've been hearing a lot of shit about Nocturnal. I'm either gonna hit that up or Kustom this weekend. You know at Kustom, they give you a free stamp to get into Whitestar after 3 with no cover nor wait in line.

You don't have to wait in line if you get on the list on Sat?!? I don't mind dropping the $20 (sucks to be a guy), it's just the wait in line that kills me. The other thing is, do you HAVE to have girls with you to get in. Last time I went, the only reason we got in was because we had some hot chicks with us. From what I've heard, unaccompanied men just do NOT get in (unless you play for the Bulls or some shit). The thing is, I hate bringing girls to the bar. It's like bringing sand to the beach. Especially Whitestar. There are SO many fine looking honeys there but I can't really do a whole lot of macking if I brought some girl with. I've never been there without a girl on my side and I refuse to do it again. It's just torture. So to recap, is it possible for a group of, say, 3-4 guys to get in w/out girls?!?

like I said.. you gotta email the guy.. he might even give you his cell phone #.. I always call about 10 minutes before I get there.. plus you should get there around 10:30 - 11. His name is Brad Altman.. I think he runs the place.. I have been there with 4 other guys - no chicks and I got in no problem.. but I did go around 10:45pm.. can't push your luck too much... but get on the Whitestar email list... pretty sweet.

white star is a bunch of hype. everyone thinks their shit dont stink there. there might be some REALLY good changes made to nocturnal or the drink if my friend gets in there. and still dont rule out crobar. once you look past all the dorks theyve been letting in, its still bad ass. go before it closes
