Chicago is a great fucking city. If you like food that there's your place.

If you can, catch a Cubs game. Even if you're not a baseball fan you'll still have fun. Wrigley Field is probably the best place to watch a game because everybody there is having a great time.

As for Cabrini Green, they're in the process of tearing it down and placing high dollar condos and town homes. It looks nothing like it used to.

Chicago is well known for 3 things:

1) Clam Chowder
2) Eiffel Tower
3) they still have the full set of Gremlins there, completely undisturbed and they have tours of it on the hour
4) most people don't know it, but the only way to get around Chicago is via the canals riding gondolas

I take a trip once a year just to shop in Chicago. I took my lil gal last year and we spent over three hours in the American Girl store!
