what the hell is with other forums???

back in august i got a 3 month ban from a mustang forum. I posted up a picture of a girl posing next to a mustang in the pic/vid section of that site. Before doing this i read the rules about posting pictures and it said you can only post PG stuff in a thread. meaning if i posted the pic everyone reading the thread would see it automatically. Instead i posted a link to the page where you can see her pix and a few vids. It was up to the people who wanted to see to click on the link. I got a pm from one of the mods saying to read the rules and to never do that again. I replied to his pm with a copy of the rules and to point out how i was wrong in doing what i did. He couldn't prove it so i got banned anyways. It's been way past 3 months and my IP is still blocked from the site for reasons unknown.

i signed up on a different mustang forum last year. I never posted until recently (i was more of a lurker for racing/random vids) some dude wanted to put a trailer hitch on his 05 mustang (gt) to haul around jet ski's and a boat. I asked a simple question because i was confused so i asked him "why didn't you get a truck" I didn't mean it to sound bad i guess i wrote it to fast and didn't think to re-word it incase him or someone else did take offense. His reply to my post was "i can do whatever i want, i paid for it, it's my car. If you don't like it to bad. my truck doesn't have a/c since the v8 swap and the mustang gets twice the gas milage" I totally agree with him. If it's your car do whatever the hell you want with it. The thread was locked with a mod lecturing me.

Does anyone else get that though? You already have a truck that you swapped a v8 into with no a/c. Instead of putting in a a/c for a couple hundred, you figure it's way cheaper to buy a 30-35k car just to turn it into a el camino??? The "ultimate" reason "it gets twice the gas milage." uuh yeah i'm sure it does. when your not fucking towing something and you're not blasting the a/c while you're doing it.

I can almost see it: Some guy's wife is tolerating his hobby, more or less, and she's humoring him, they're looking at some custom ideas, then he clicks on your link that supposed to be a 'Stang and instead it's 60% 'Stang and 40% boobies. He sleeps on the couch, she keys his car, they end up divorced....

Yeah, yeah, you want to push it just a little bit. PG-13 maybe? But then some other guy says "I can top that!" and goes for the R or the hard X. Why go there? Why not leave a little room for people who have other interests? If a guy wants to see pics of boobies, there are better places to get 'em than a Mustang forum! You follow me?

As for the guy with the truck, I hear ya -- one problem is that tone of voice doesn't come across well in plain text. You thought it was just an insightful question, but the guy thought he heard you sneering at him and maybe calling him a moron. You say you posted "in a hurry," right? Which is another way of saying you were abrupt.

Bottom line, their board = their rules. They're going to go with what works for them.

there were no boobs involved.. just bare back pretending she was washing the car topless. the bottoms weren't a thong or anything. The vids showed her standing next to the car talking about random shit fully clothed. my post was pg compared to what the rest of the members including the stuff the mod would post. So it was a "do as i say, and not as i do" situation. oh well haha i like being here more often anyways!!!
