what the heck drug is this?

I was offered something called OXY for $30 a pill and told it's a pain killer like moriphine.

what is it, and what's up with $30/pill?
 
30 bucks a pill?

most ive ever seen it is like 5-10 a pill, its cool, but not worth 30 bucks

THEN YOU'VE NVR SEEN THE 80MG PILLS THEN. THEY GO ANYWHERE FROM 30-50$/PILL.

OXY COME IN 10,20,40, AND 80MG PILLS. IF YOU DONT TAKE PAIN PILLS OFTEN, I DO HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DONT TAKE THE 80MG.

Oxycontin is a 12 hour time-released pill containing oxycodone, the same ingredient found in Percocets. It is a chemical cousin (like all painkillers) to morphine/heroin/etc. It is one of the Top 10 most watched prescription drugs in the nation b/c whole towns in the Appalachian mountains were getting addicted, people were robbing pharmacies, etc.

They come in 10, 20, 40, and 80mg pills. They used to make 160mg for like terminally ill ppl and cancer patients, but b/c the average non-opiod tolerent person could take 1 of them and die, they were pulled from the market. The 80's might send the average first-timer to the hospital too.

The danger lies in the fact that it only takes 7-10 days to get addicted to most opium-based painkillers if you are using them in rec. dosages.
 
This dude I went to high school with is sick with it. Started out taking like 20mg, now he snorts 80's all day long. If he doesn't do it for a few hours he starts shaking. Its fucking sick man.

I always try to educate myself first though I trust my bros word despite the fact he's a pusher. tried 20mg with him once and didn't notice anything, but this is something I'm certainly not getting involved with.

ANYWAY, A FRIEND OF MINE IS SO ADDICTED TO THEM, HE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL TWICE TO GET ALL THE OPIATES REMOVED OUT OF HIS SYSTEM. DONT KNOW THE PROCESS BUT THATS WHAT HE SAID HE HAD TO DO. HE WAS EATING 10-12 80MG PER DAY. IF HE DOESNT HAVE THEM, HE GETS SO FUCKING SICK ITS UNBELIEVABLE.

HE WAS HIT BY A CAR AND ALMOST DIED. HE HAS A SCRIPT FOR THEM. HIS DOCTOR IS PRETTY CROOKED SO HE GIVES HIM A LOT. LOTS OF PEOPLE GO TO THIS DOC FOR SCRIPTS. THEY PAY CASH FOR THE DOCTORS VISIT. HE EASILY SEES 200 "PATIENTS" PER DAY AT 200-250 A POP FOR THE VISIT. DO THAT MATH!!! MOST OF THAT IS RIGHT IN HIS POCKET!!!

oxy is big here in the ohio,kentucky,west virginia, detriot area. they go for $1/mg here.one 80 is usually good enough for a good while if insuffulated. local eports show guys in rehab, several of which went through entire inheritances for this shit.

area got so bad that now no doc in the area will prescribe any painkillers or nerve pills at all. fucked up my back last year, and couldnt even get an anti-inflamatory.
 
These prices are so hilarious. I guess you can expect to pay these without a usual source. I have never paid for a pharmie EVER. Oxy's go for about $1 per mg. I have taken a couple 40's, couple ambien, and some alcohol and still was able to drive to get more alcohol. I shouldn't have but I was able to. Oxy's are so overated it's unbelievable. They are cool once you take a few 40's then you puke your guts out the next morning. I don't see the what the fuss is all about

NOT EVERYONE HAS GOOD HOOKUPS WHEN IT COMES TO SHIT LIKE THIS. A MAJORITY OF THE TIME, PEOPLE WILL PAY STREET PRICE FOR THINGS. WHICH IS WHAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT HERE...STREET PRICE.

Yea I guess it's not something to brag about. I have tested my limits with pharmies though. We had 20mg or 80mg vanadian caps which are morphine sulphate capsules. We took one but never felt anything for about 2 hours. We took another one then never felt that after an hour. So we broke open the capsule and put is in our drink. We then drank it and crunched up the pellets. After that we were fucked up for 2 days straight. We tried going to bed at about 5am that night. Didn't happen. We fucked for about an hour then stopped b/c she was gettign sore. I can't cum when I'm on painkillers so she had to stop. We laid on the couch for a few hours. Got up and made breakfast. Fell asleep the woke up a few hours later and ate. Then fell asleep again then ate again around 7pm even though I was STILL feeeling them. We finally went to sleep around 10pm until the next morning.

Well, I was mostly kidding. I just didn't use as many smilies :) as I usually do :) Just posted the prices from Walgreens, since it never ceases to amaze me the type of mark-ups that happen for the "street" price of Rx drugs. Esp. the ones for pain. Hell, anybody and their brother can get a Rx for Viagra, cost $8 a pill now, but people still buy them in clubs for $20+.

I know people do them, I just don't have anywhere near the "addictive" personality that some people have. I don't mean that in a bad way towards anyone. It's just that I could care less about drinking, although I do it sometimes, winning or losing at gambling doesn't give me a rush or piss me off, don't see much sense in getting drunk or fucked up, although that hasn't stopped me from doing it. I just don't "get off" on it like many of my friends do.

As far as the rec usage vs. for legitimate pain, I seriously think the mods/etc. don't like rec drug discussions on the boards since it just draws unnecessary attention outside of what they already get for the AAS discussions. Not sure if it is an official site policy or not though.

Now where did my Valium go.... :)
 
Oxycontin is pretty much the most addictive pain killer there is. It is for cancer patients who have built up a tolerance to the "lighter" stuff like prcocet and demerol. MS contin is the extended release form. For those not taking Percocet on a regular basis, a single 80mg Oxy can kill you.
