is it the lack of fruictose? lets say if your liver glycogen is empty the your thyroid gets lower? can someone give me an estimate how long it takes for the thyroid to shut down or reduce with a zero carb diet? and lets say you have a reefeed or carb up day and your liver glycogen is full. how many days would it take to empty it on a zero carb diet with vigorous excerse, experts atleast gimme an estimate or something like 2 or 3 days, i would say im around 8-9 percent bodyfat too. im just curios on this thanks for your help. or just plain lack of carbs that shut thyroid down? whats enuf carbohydrates or fruictose needed to stabalize thyroid????????????????

Your thyroid won't have a problem getting shut down in just dieting inless you take certian drugs/supplements or have a illness. The hormones will drop and your tempature will decrease this is normal though with most all diets the body does this to protect it self. When fat loss slows down, What you can do is either A. take a few weeks off the diet and eat carbs at maintance level, or B. reduce calories or do more cardio or C. Take thyroid hormones but these are what supress your natural thyroid.
Or you can try a carb rotation diet this will keep your metabolism from going down
