I've used 25 ga (1" and 1 1/2") and they're great if you have an AS that will flow through them easily -- you don't feel them at all when you put them in.

I was putting deca and test through them and even after warming, the shit didn't flow easily; net effect was having to really push down on the plunger, which in turn caused more shaking. Causing more pain in the days following the shot.

Switched back to 23 ga (which is the largest gauge I'd use for anything); you feel them more, but they're not bad. (they don't hurt)

It's smart to use the smallest gauge you can get away with to minimize scar tissue over the long term.

Terumo 25g 1 inch is what i use. I didn't use steriods for 2 years cause i didn't want to do orals as they are too harsh on liver and couldn't do injectibles cause i was shit scared of needles. Finally i decided to conquer my fears and let me tell you, it didn't hurt at all.

Its all in your head, you feel a little pinch once the needle breaks the skin and enters the muscle but once the needle is in, there's no pain at all. Just squeeze it in slowly and nicely and don't worry about the pain. If you can take the pain of heavy sets, this should be a piece of cake.

ditto on everything f4 said above for me too, cept not scared of needles....but do like he said and it will go smooth like he said.

I normally use 22g to inject and 19g to draw. I used the 19g once to inject and it felt like a harpoon. I refuse to let it happen again.
